Unique Mentoring Model
Mentoring at GIBS is not a process, it is a model relationship that mentors and mentees hold. GIBS is concerned towards student’s emotions, interests, growth. To address their concerns, the faculty, placement and alumni of GIBS follow a unique mentoring & counselling model. In addition, there will be a personal life coach & career counsellor available in the college.
As mentioned above every student of GIBS will have one mentor from L & D department, one from GIBS Corporate School, one alumni mentor, and one business mentor (from Corporate). It will all be a one-to-one mentoring system. The time will be fixed prior with the consent of the student. The major focus of mentoring will be on mind-set, skill-set, spiritual quotient, emotional quotient, happiness & success, communication improvement techniques, family values, etc. We have a number of fixed meetings for each student for the complete course i.e.,
- L & D Department –12 Sessions
- Placement Department– 6 Sessions
- Personal life and Career Counselling – 6 Sessions
- Corporate & Business Mentoring – Continuous process
